Program Structure

The course load of the program without thesis consists of a total of 10 courses (4 core and 6 elective) and a final project. The course load of the program with thesis consists of a total of 7 courses (4 core and 3 elective) and 1 seminar course and a thesis. Elective courses allow students to specialize in areas of particular interest and are offered in a variety of areas such as financial statement analysis, managerial accounting, internal auditing, forensic accounting and fraud examination, application of International Financial Reporting Standards and advanced corporate reporting.

After completing the course work, a student is required to submit a final project. The final project, which is supervised by a faculty member, shall enable the student to put into practice the theoretical principles acquired through his or her course work.

The duration of MSc in Accounting and Auditing Program is 3 semesters.

The courses are conducted entirely in Turkish and are held between 19:00 and 22:00 on weekdays and between 10:00-16:00 on Saturdays at the Santral Campus.
